Vacancy Details

To assist the Matron in theeffective management of care in the home. Provide leadership and co-ordination of the Care Teams, assisting in the development, monitoring and evaluation of nursing care standards. Participating fully in the care process, leading from the front by practice and example. Taking full clinical and managerial responsibility for the home in the absence of the Matron, participating in On-Call arrangements and providing emergency cover as necessary so that a Registered 1st level nurse is always on duty. Ensure creating and maintenance of a safe and homely environment. Reports on clients. Investigate and report complaints and incidents.Co-ordinate clinical services. Arrange routine visits by GPs. Supervise care teams and their leaders, monitor performance and motivate members. Ensure accurate, timely and effective communication.
