Experience of working in an urgent care and / or primary care setting
Significant evidence of continuing professional development and application to practice within the last 12 months

Hepatitis B vaccination (we can provide this)
BCG (for tuberculosis) vaccination (we can provide this)

Vacancy Details

The salary for this role is negotiable dependent upon experience.

The purpose of the post is to support the academic training and clinical development of clinicians that leads to the achievement of Advanced Clinical Practitioner Masters qualification. This is a training post and the job description describes the scope of the role whilst in training.

Under indirect supervision

Practice as a Trainee ACP within own sphere of competence and agreed acceptable limits of practice
Be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, interpreting investigations, and treating patients within FCMS services within a developing scope of competence (Based at Morecambe UTC)
To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team in providing quality evidence-based health care to meet the immediate needs of the patient
To be responsible for contributing to the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care.
To teach other clinical and non-clinical staff
To provide day-to-day clinical leadership to the clinical teams, participating fully in the delivery of healthcare provision.
To utilise clinical expertise and experiences towards developing and enhancing services within FCMS and the wider health and social care economies
Demonstrate the development and implementation of advanced skills and competencies and ensure that evidence-based practice is inherent in all aspects of care and treatment.
NON-MEDICAL PRESCRIBING

If you are employed in a prescribing capacity, you must have a current registration with your professional body that includes V300 qualification. You must only prescribe from an agreed P Formulary which reflects your competency and experience and is aligned to up to date evidence / best practice guidance. You will be expected to review and develop your P Formulary on an annual basis.

Interviews are scheduled to take place on 15th June 2022.

The role is subject to a DBS check which will require three forms of valid ID to be produced and verified. The onboarding process is also subject to an Occupational Health check, suitable professional references and eligibility to work in the UK (with the requirement to provide relevant documentation as evidence).
