• Is there a cost to participating in the programmes?

  There is no cost to participating in the e-learning programmes. All of the programmes are free, including the ability to download the certificated on completion.

• Can I pause a programme and come back at a later date?

  Yes! You can work through all programmes at your own pace.

• Do I receive a certificate upon completion?

  Yes. All programmes have a certificate which will automatically be generated upon completion. These can be found in the My Portfolio section.

• How long do programmes take to complete?

  This varies depending on the programme, but most are around 60 minutes.

• I can't find a programme which interests me.

  Content is being developed regularly. You might want to check back again and keep an eye out for new content. You can also look at the Events section of the main www.nhscareersnw.co.uk website for additional opportunities.

• Once started, do I need to complete the programme within a certain timeframe?

  Programmes are for completion at your own pace. However, we do recommend that you complete a programme within a few weeks so that you do not lose the learning.

• Which age range are the courses suitable for?

  We aim to have content suitable for all age groups. For each age group, please have a look at the relevant category e.g. Primary or KS3 (11-14).

• What can these programmes help me to achieve?

  These programmes can support you to achieve the next step in your career pathway. For example applications towards 6th Form and College, UCAS applications or applications for jobs. Plus much more.
