Vacancy Details

At One Fylde we provide support, accommodation and activities for adults and young people with learning disabilities. We cover the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre areas.

We are a community with a purpose – to make sure that everyone who is part of One Fylde is treated with respect and enabled to live the best life possible.

Currently, One Fylde supports over 230 individuals and employs over 300 staff and we are looking to add to our team with Support Workers, across the region

The people we support in this service enjoy an array of activities from sports, baking, cooking, arts and crafts and listening to music. They love being out and about in the community attending clubs, going to the cinema and bowling.

They are looking for someone who is patient and easy going with a kind and gentle nature. The houses are lively and the people we support would like someone fun with a good sense of humor.

You’ll have responsibility for providing support with all aspects of day-to-day living, enabling the people we support to make their own decisions and enjoy the best possible quality of life. You’ll be encouraging and helping them participate in the local community, pursuing all possible opportunities to join local groups.

Of course, there are some specific qualities we will be looking for and some key responsibilities.
