My Life Legacy was established in 2012 as a result of a group of people with disabilities and their families wanting something different to traditional types of health/social care services and wanting more choice and control over their own lives. My Life currently provides care and support to a growing number of individuals who have complex health and social care needs across the Northwest of England. Our staff are integral to the success of the charity as they are the ones making a real difference to people’s lives, in return we put significant investment in our employees.

Your Responsibilities
As a Support Worker in Life Opportunities, you will provide support for My Life members and families with their everyday experiences at My Life. This will be meaningful person-centred activities for all ages and abilities from art, music and dance to horticulture, catering, woodwork and more! Our activities take place at our site in Standish, which is set in 84 acres of beautiful farmland and also at our home at Leigh Sports Village, with state-of-the-art facilities.

What you’ll need to Succeed
In order to succeed, you will have experience of working in a similar Support Worker role, working with young people and/or vulnerable adults. You will have experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or health needs and you will be a highly motivated, inspirational individual with the ability to work with a range of people.

The salary will be up to £11.44 per hour, depending upon experience, plus a competitive benefits package.
