HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE AN AMBASSADOR IN AN INNOVATIVE AND UNIQUE CAREERS PACKAGE, ENGAGING AND SUPPORTING STUDENTS WITHIN SCHOOLS & COLLEGES ACROSS LANCASHIRE & SOUTH CUMBRIA?
This package is delivered by healthcare professional ambassadors and we would like pre-registration medical and non-medical students to volunteer as ambassadors to help support, benefits include:
- Working in partnership with healthcare professionals gathering insight into their careers
- Enhancing your application for jobs and further study by showing dedication as a volunteer ambassador
- Being involved in a new innovative and unique experience
- Boost your confidence and skills in communication and teamwork
As an ambassador you will be providing your skills and knowledge in supporting pupils in schools and colleges to:
- Gain a holistic overview of the services a person could access within the health and social care system
- Consider what career pathways are available within all our health and social care services
- Providing an understanding of how lifestyle choices impact on a person’s health and well-being
