Lancaster Girls Grammar School – 999 Workshop

All careers cartoon

UHMBT’s Careers & Apprenticeships Team will be attending Lancaster Girls Grammar School to deliver their 999 workshop. This interactive session is designed to introduce students to the wide range of career opportunities available within the NHS. The “999 Workshop” goes beyond emergency services—it showcases the diverse roles that support the healthcare system, from clinical positions like paramedics, nurses, and doctors, to essential non-clinical roles such as IT specialists, administrators, and support staff. Through hands-on activities, real-life scenarios, and career insights, students will gain a deeper understanding of how the NHS operates and the many pathways they can pursue. The workshop aims to inspire young people to consider a future in healthcare, helping them connect their interests and skills to meaningful careers that make a difference in people’s lives.
